API (Application Programming Interface) is a set of programmatic methods that let your systems exchange data with Wildberries automatically.
Put simply: WB API is a bridge between your business and the marketplace. Instead of manually updating prices, checking orders, or uploading listings in your WB Partners personal account, you can hand that work over to a program.
WB API works over HTTP REST: your program sends a request, Wildberries processes it and returns a response. The method documentation describes the conditions for processing the request.
Integration capabilities depend on the country and access permissions. The table gives examples; check the conditions for each method in your region's documentation.
| Area | What you can automate |
|---|---|
| Items | Creating and editing listings, uploading media, updating characteristics |
| Orders | Fetching orders, updating statuses and managing shipments under the FBS model |
| Prices and promotions | Updating prices and discounts, joining promotions through the promotion calendar |
| Analytics | Sales funnel, search queries, inventory history and data for analysis |
| Promotion | Managing promotional campaigns, setting bids, performance statistics |
| Communication | Working with buyer feedback and questions, order chat |
| Finance | Retrieving financial reports |
| Buyers returns | Working with return requests, tracking statuses |
Find method descriptions and request requirements in the WB API documentation.
Sellers who want to automate routine operations and scale their business. Identify the data and actions your company needs, then discuss the integration with a developer.
Developers and IT teams who build integrations for sellers, either in-house or to order. WB API documentation in OpenAPI format describes the methods, request parameters and responses.
Read the WB API general information to learn about request structure and usage rules.
Then read the authorization section: requests need a token with access to the selected data category. Check the access conditions for the specific method.
Choose an integration task. For example, the item management section has methods for retrieving and updating listings. Check the request parameters and rate limit before your first call.
